Conquering Artists

You may be surprised at the artiest's methodology
I was scanning my news-feed on Facebook when I came across the artwork to the left and when I found out the story behind it I knew I had to share it on Mesmerizing Medium Monday.
The amazing lions were created by a gentleman, Paul Smith, who was born with cerebral palsy back in the 1920's and what makes this work

Another fantabulous artist!
extra awesome is that it was done using only 10 keys of a typewriter!  You can read more about this truly gifted man at the following link...

Joni Eareckson Tada began drawing and painting using her mouth after she was left paralyzed from a diving accident over 40 years ago. I read one of her books many years ago and her story is powerfully inspiring, not only about how she trained herself to continue on with her artistic endeavors, but how she deals with life and it's setbacks.  What a wonderful person she is and here is a link to her website...http://www.joniandfriends.org/television/painting-gods-pleasure/

."The Chase"...what a peaceful scene
The final incredible painter/artist featured today is John Bramblitt and, it sounds crazy, but he's blind!  He started to lose his eyesight from epilepsy when he was 8 and went completely blind when he was 30.  He paints by touch, feeling the texture of the paints he uses and visualizes the people he renders on canvas  by touching their faces.  As the others above, he has a uplifting tale to tell and you can check out more details here...

Not only is this trio superior artists but they are super-superior in their stories of conquering life's difficulties in many beautiful ways :)
