Artist Highlight-Pawel Kuczynski

Passion

I decided to feature a single artist this Mesmerizing Medium Monday, one that I very recently discovered on a Pinterest binge.
His name (as you probably read above but I'll write it again to be official) is Pawel Kuczynski and he's

The School
a satirical illustrator/cartoonist from Poland, which is another great reason to feature him (okay, I MAY be a bit Polish Prejudiced).  He graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Poznan in the wonderful country of Poland (shameless heritage plug).  He now lives in Police, Poland...and it's a real city, no typo, as I checked :)

Voting
Pawel's  prizewinning work focuses on poverty, injustice, the power held by the rich and some our own Western Ways that frankly deserve to be cartooned.  I usually try not to be too political as my blog is a happy place but I think you'll enjoy his style of drawing and the way they make you ponder on what he's trying to convey.  Some of his works are simple to understand and others I can't quite figure out.  Don't worry, I've only included the easier ones,  but it is good to dig deep and use the gray matter so you should check out more of his works yourself!  Maybe you'll understand, maybe you won't, maybe you'll agree with him and maybe you won't, but at least you'll get your head-gears spinning :)
