Cowboys thinkin'

Smart cowboy :)
Howdy, pardnars!  Welp, another week just went a-wanderin' away and brought us back to Thoughtful/Thankful Thursday.  I was ponderin' on what to write about for y'all when I tumbled on this here quote from Willie and it spurred me (fun pun) on to this here cowboy way a thinkin'.  Okay, done with the cowboy accent for now (I think it was starting to get painful for both of us!) and onto the thoughts.  As I related above, I found the Words

Listen to The Duke!

of Willie when I did a search for positive quotes.  It makes perfect sense since you need to use good quality material (i.e. your thoughts) to achieve  good quality results, in this case your life.  Even if things don't go your way, a good attitude helps to get you through it.

John "The Duke" Wayne is someone I've admired since I was a youngin' (just a pinch of accent) and saw "True Grit".  His wise words have been related in meaning by many, but I admire his own special spin on it.  I love horses, so I guess the thought of getting on your trusty pal and riding on no matter what is a rough and romantic way to get motivated.

How sweet it is
This last tid-bit is from Will Roger's humorously thoughtful brain and is advice that I've recently been following.  The limb is a precarious place and you have to be careful to keep your balance (and pray a lot!), but there is some sweet fruit to be had.

So in conclusion...
try not to tumble while grabbin' that fruit, but iffin ya do, just keep thinkin' pos-tive and git back in that saddle 'n ride into the sunset, Cowboy.  Yeehaw!
